3 Doors Down, formed in 1996, is an American rock band from small-town Mississippi. They’re known for their post-grunge sound and heartfelt lyrics, which exploded onto the scene at the turn of the century. Childhood friends Brad Arnold (vocals), Matt Roberts (guitar), and Todd Harrell (bass) founded the group, later joined by Chris Henderson (guitar) in 1998 and Greg Upchurch (drums) in 2005. The band’s name originated from a “Doors Down” sign in Foley, Alabama, with “3” reflecting the trio’s original lineup.

Their debut album, “The Better Life” (2000), sold over 6 million copies, driven by hits like “Kryptonite,” “Loser,” and “Duck and Run,” all topping the mainstream rock charts.
