Cheap Trick, formed in 1970 in Rockford, Illinois, is an American rock band known for its unique fusion of ’60s guitar pop, ’70s hard rock, and punk energy. The classic lineup—Robin Zander (vocals), Rick Nielsen (guitar), Tom Petersson (bass) and originally Bun E. Carlos (drums)—helped define their unmistakable power-pop and arena-rock sound.
