About Death Cab for Cutie
Death Cab for Cutie emerged in 1997 in Bellingham, Washington to become an American indie rock band known for their introspective lyrics, atmospheric melodies and emotional authenticity. The band launched their musical career with their debut album Something About Airplanes (1998) which established their emotional indie sound. The band achieved mainstream success with Transatlanticism (2003) through its hit singles “The Sound of Settling” and the title track which received critical praise and attracted new fans to their music.
