Grammy-Nominated American Country Singer/Songwriter
About Dierks Bentley
Dierks Bentley, whose career began in the late 1990s, is a Grammy-nominated country music artist from Phoenix, Arizona. After moving to Nashville, he self-released an independent album in 2001 before signing with Capitol Nashville in 2003—launching a career defined by traditional country storytelling, bluegrass influences, and modern production.
His self-titled debut (2003) and Modern Day Drifter (2005) both earned platinum status, spawning No. 1 hits like “What Was I Thinkin’,” “Come a Little Closer,” and “Settle for a Slowdown.” Long Trip Alone (2006) achieved Gold certification, powered by singles “Every Mile a Memory” and “Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go).” He was honored with the CMA Horizon Award in 2005 and became one of the youngest inductees into the Grand Ole Opry that same year.
