Eric Paslay
Grammy-Nominated American Country Singer/Songwriter Known for the #1 Hit "Friday Night"
About Eric Paslay
Eric Paslay is a Grammy-nominated American country singer-songwriter whose breakthrough hits as both a performer and a songwriter have shaped a decade of country radio. Born January 29, 1983, in Abilene, Texas, and raised in Temple, he studied commercial music at Middle Tennessee State University before settling in Nashville and quickly establishing himself as one of the city's most in-demand young songwriters.
Before launching his own recording career, Paslay co-wrote a string of #1 country hits for other artists, including Jake Owen's "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" (2011), Eli Young Band's "Even If It Breaks Your Heart" (2012), Love and Theft's "Angel Eyes" (2012), and Rascal Flatts' "Rewind" (2014). The success put him in the same songwriter conversation as Nashville's most respected hitmakers.
