FKA Twigs is a Mercury Prize-shortlisted English singer, dancer, producer, and visual artist whose avant-garde catalog has redefined the boundaries of contemporary pop and alternative R&B. Born Tahliah Debrett Barnett in Cheltenham, England, in 1988, she came up in London's underground scene and built her early career as a backup dancer in music videos for Jessie J, Kylie Minogue, and Ed Sheeran before stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist in 2012.

After releasing the genre-bending EP1 (2012) and EP2 (2013) on Young Turks, she earned widespread critical acclaim with her debut studio album LP1 (2014), which was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and produced the breakout single "Two Weeks."
