Moroccan-American Hip-Hop Star Known for the Diamond-Certified Hit "Unforgettable"
About French Montana
French Montana is a Moroccan-American hip-hop star whose Diamond-certified smash "Unforgettable" made him one of the most globally recognized rappers of his generation. Born Karim Kharbouch on November 9, 1984, in Rabat, Morocco, he moved to the Bronx at age 13 and came up through New York's mixtape circuit before launching the Coke Boys collective and signing with Bad Boy Records and Maybach Music Group.
After building a following through his Mister 16: Casino Life and Mac & Cheese mixtape series, French Montana released his debut studio album, Excuse My French, in 2013. The album's lead single, "Pop That," featuring Rick Ross, Drake, and Lil Wayne, became his first major hit, cracking the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 and establishing him as one of New York hip-hop's most-watched new voices.
