Hank Williams Jr.
Country Music Legend Known for Outlaw Spirit and Southern Rock Edge
About Hank Williams Jr.
Hank Williams Jr. (Randall Hank Williams), whose career began in the early 1960s following the legacy of his father Hank Sr., evolved into a defining figure in outlaw country and Southern rock.
A prodigious multi-instrumentalist—adept at guitar, dobro, piano, harmonica, fiddle, and more—he recorded his first television appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1963 at just 14. After a near-fatal climbing accident in 1975, he rebuilt his career into a hard-driving fusion of country, blues and Southern rock.
