Iration emerged as a reggae rock band from Isla Vista, California in 2004 to deliver their signature blend of relaxing music and positive lyrics and California coastal vibes. The band consists of Micah Pueschel (vocals, guitar), Adam Taylor (bass), Joseph Dickens (drums), Cayson Peterson (keyboards) and Micah Brown (guitar, vocals) who are all Hawaiian-born college friends. The band creates a sun-kissed musical style by uniting reggae with rock and alternative elements which attracts fans throughout the United States.

The debut full-length album No Time for Rest (2007) from Iration presented their relaxed musical approach which led to their gradual success. The band released Time Bomb (2010) and Automatic (2013) which included popular tracks "Time Bomb" and "Back Around" and "Reelin" that achieved success on reggae and alternative charts while becoming popular on college and festival radio stations.
