Louisville-born rapper Jack Harlow has become one of the most recognizable voices in modern hip-hop, a Grammy-nominated artist whose smooth flow, pop-forward hooks, and unabashed pride in his Kentucky roots have taken him from Louisville's underground rap scene to the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Born Jackman Thomas Harlow in 1998 and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Harlow began releasing mixtapes as a teenager, built a devoted local following, and signed with DJ Drama's Generation Now / Atlantic Records in 2018 — the launchpad for what would quickly become one of the fastest-rising careers in the genre.

His breakthrough came with the 2020 release of "Whats Poppin," a viral single that peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned him his first Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance. The track anchored his debut studio album Thats What They All Say (2020) and immediately established Harlow as one of the defining new voices of a new generation of American rap. In 2021, his feature on Lil Nas X's "Industry Baby" gave him his first #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100.
