Jason Michael Carroll is an American country singer-songwriter whose late-2000s hits "Alyssa Lies" and "Livin' Our Love Song" turned him into one of country radio's most distinctive new voices of the era. Born September 13, 1978, in Houston and raised in Youngsville, North Carolina, he was discovered through a North Carolina talent competition before signing his major-label deal with Arista Nashville.
