John Mayer launched his music career in the early 2000s as an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who hails from Bridgeport, Connecticut. His initial acoustic-pop style led to widespread recognition before he developed into a world-class performer who showcases both his soulful voice and instrumental expertise.

The self-released EP Inside Wants Out (2001) displayed his guitar talents and songwriting skills which led to his debut major-label album “Room for Squares” (2002). The album "No Such Thing" became a huge success which led to “Room for Squares” achieving multi-platinum status and earning Mayer his first Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
