Keith Urban
Grammy-Winning Country Star and International Touring Artist
About Keith Urban
Keith Urban was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia to later become a singer-songwriter and guitarist whose career has spanned from mid‑1990s rock-country beginnings to global superstardom. Bridging continents and musical styles, he has become one of country music’s most enduring and internationally recognized figures.
Urban made his U.S. debut in 1999 with a self-titled album that produced his first No. 1 hit, launching a trajectory of chart dominance. His sophomore record, Golden Road (2002), delivered “Somebody Like You”—one of the biggest country hits of the decade. Be Here (2004) became his highest-selling U.S. album, and Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing (2006) featured the Grammy-winning single “Stupid Boy.” Urban’s string of albums—including Defying Gravity (2009), Get Closer (2010), Fuse (2013), Ripcord (2016), Graffiti U (2018), The Speed of Now Part 1 (2020), and High (2024)—each delivered hits, genre-blending evolution, and arena-sized appeal.
