Kenny G (Kenneth Bruce Gorelick) was born in Seattle, Washington, in 1956. He is a world-renowned smooth jazz saxophonist whose career spans over five decades, beginning in 1973 when he joined Barry White’s Love Unlimited Orchestra at just 17 years old.

His solo breakthrough came with the 1986 album Duotones, propelled by the hit instrumental "Songbird," which climbed into the Top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100. The 1992 album Breathless became the best-selling instrumental album of all time, certified 12x Platinum, featuring the Grammy-winning “Forever in Love.” That success was followed by Miracles: The Holiday Album which topped charts and became a perennial favorite during the holiday season.
