Kygo is a Norwegian DJ, producer, and songwriter who rose to global fame as a pioneer of the tropical house sound. Known for his melodic style, chill vibes and star-studded collaborations, Kygo has become one of the most recognizable names in electronic music—dominating streaming platforms and headlining major festivals around the world.

Born Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll in Singapore and raised in Bergen, Norway, Kygo first gained international attention in 2013 with his remix of Ed Sheeran’s “I See Fire” which went viral on SoundCloud and YouTube. He followed that momentum with his breakthrough single “Firestone” featuring Conrad Sewell which charted worldwide and helped define the tropical house genre. His debut album Cloud Nine (2016) solidified his place in pop and EDM, delivering hits like “Stole the Show,” “Stay” and “Raging” alongside collaborators like Parson James, Maty Noyes and Kodaline.
