Lukas Graham, the Danish soul-pop band known worldwide for the global smash "7 Years," emerged from Copenhagen's Christiania neighborhood in 2011. The group is fronted by lead vocalist Lukas Graham Forchhammer alongside drummer Mark "Lovestick" Falgren and bassist Magnus Larsson, with founding keyboardist Kasper Daugaard rounding out the original lineup. Forchhammer grew up in the famously bohemian Christiania commune and pulls deeply from his upbringing and family losses in his songwriting.

Their self-titled debut, Lukas Graham (2012) hit #1 in Denmark, but it was the band's international second album — also self-titled, widely known as the Blue Album (2015) — that launched them globally. Its lead single "7 Years," written for Forchhammer's late father, reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, topped charts in more than a dozen countries, and earned three Grammy nominations, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
