Hailing from Texas (Maddie Font) and Oklahoma (Tae Kerr), the duo broke through in 2014 with their debut single “Girl in a Country Song.”The track—a clever, pointed response to the bro-country trend—shot to No.1 and launched them into the spotlight. The band released their debut album Start Here in 2015 which included popular tracks “Fly” and “Shut Up and Fish” while presenting a musical style that combined both playful and genuine elements.
