New Found Glory
Veteran American Pop-Punk Band Known for "My Friends Over You" and "All Downhill from Here"
About New Found Glory
Formed in Coral Springs, Florida in 1997, New Found Glory are one of the most enduring pop-punk bands of the past three decades — a four-piece whose fast tempos, chorus-driven hooks, and unmistakable Florida-punk energy helped define the sound of the early-2000s pop-punk boom. The band's longtime lineup consists of Jordan Pundik (lead vocals), Chad Gilbert (lead guitar), Ian Grushka (bass), and Cyrus Bolooki (drums), a foursome that has now been playing together for close to thirty years. The group originally performed as A New Found Glory before dropping the "A" from their name in the early 2000s.
Their breakthrough came with the self-titled New Found Glory (2000), a certified Gold album that featured fan favorites "Hit or Miss" and "Dressed to Kill" and helped position the band as leaders of a new wave of American pop-punk. Their follow-up, Sticks and Stones (2002), pushed them to a new commercial peak, debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and going Gold on the strength of the smash single "My Friends Over You," now widely considered one of the defining anthems of the entire genre.
