The indie pop band, St. Lucia emerged in Brooklyn, New York in 2012 through the musical talents of Jean-Philip Grobler, who brought South African heritage to the group. The group gained fast popularity through their creation of energetic tracks that combined vintage '80s elements with contemporary production techniques.
