About Third Eye Blind
Third Eye Blind is an alternative rock band emerged from San Francisco in 1993 to create memorable introspective anthems that became iconic during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Stephan Jenkins led the band as frontman and songwriter, while Kevin Cadogan played guitar, Arion Salazar played bass and Brad Hargreaves handled drumming duties. The band created a lasting impact on alternative rock through their emotional songwriting combined with power-pop melodies.
The band achieved commercial success with their debut album Third Eye Blind (1997) which reached six-times platinum status because of their popular tracks "Semi-Charmed Life," "Jumper," "How's It Going to Be," and "Graduate." The band achieved their greatest success with "Semi-Charmed Life" which reached number four on Billboard Hot 100 while its radio-friendly mix of upbeat music and dark lyrics gained widespread airplay.
