Tiffany is an American pop singer who gained popularity during the late 1980s through her teen anthems and dance-pop hits. At 14 years old, Tiffany Darwish from Norwalk, California caught the attention of manager George Tobin who discovered her singing talent. Her 1987 shopping mall tour became a cultural sensation which helped her debut album succeed and established her as a teenage music sensation.

The debut album Tiffany (1987) achieved quadruple platinum status through its lead singles “I Think We’re Alone Now” and “Could’ve Been.” She achieved the record for youngest female artist to reach number one on the Billboard 200 chart when she was only 16 years old.
