Wiz Khalifa (Cameron Jibril Thomaz) was born in 1987 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is a multi-platinum rapper who is known for his relaxed flow and his chart-topping hits and his prominent role in mainstream cannabis culture. He started releasing mixtapes in the mid-2000s before he signed to a major label and became a national star.

His 2010 single “Black and Yellow” which was an ode to his hometown, became a cultural phenomenon by topping the Billboard Hot 100 and going quadruple platinum. His third studio album "Rolling Papers" (2011) was a success after the success of “Roll Up” and “No Sleep” which made him a star in pop and hip-hop.
