About Ying Yang Twins
The Southern rap duo, Ying Yang Twins emerged from Atlanta, Georgia in 2000 to become known for their high-energy music and club-oriented crunk anthems. The duo D-Roc (De’Angelo Holmes) and Kaine (Eric Jackson) rose to fame in the early 2000s by creating music with heavy basslines, loud hooks and lyrics that celebrated party life.
The duo achieved their first major success with “Whistle While You Twurk” in 2000 which led to their platinum-certified debut album Thug Walkin’. The duo achieved widespread popularity through their appearance on Lil Jon’s “Get Low” (2003) which became a cultural sensation that introduced crunk music to mainstream audiences.
